Bridge covers taskbar when maximizing window

Title already says it all: On my external monitor Bridge is completely covering the taskbar and esetially going fullscreen when maximising the window. This only happens on my external monitor but not on my main. Is this a feature or a bug? Shouldn't maximising keep the taskbar visible?
