Bridge crashes when trying to open Nikon3500 Camera images (Windows 11)

Hello,

I load Bridge on my newish (1.4 years I guess) Windows 11 PC. It loads okay, then I try and bring in a Nikon 3500 camera and it crashes. Any thoughts? I rebooted and tried again. I checked with Nikon and there is no driver or anything to install.

Any thoughts?

Richard

Hi Richard,

Sorry to hear that Adobe Bridge crashes when trying to import images. We're here to help.

Which version of Adobe Bridge are you using? Did you try opening any other file apart from Nikon 3500 camera, like a jpeg or PNG? Since when are you seeing this issue after any recent application or system update? Did you try re-installing the application?

Damaged preferences or workspaces can cause unexpected behavior in Adobe Bridge. Purging the cache can fix display issues for thumbnail previews.

  • Start Adobe Bridge and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows) until the Reset Settings dialog box appears.

  • Select all three options--Reset Preferences, Reset Standard Workspaces, and Purge Entire Thumbnail Cache--and then click OK
.Let us know if this helps.
