This problem has been extant for months, seemingly on Windows. Adobe has done nothing. In the meantime, I've had to revert to version 12.0.3.270 until they fix the crash problem.
Reverting: Open the Creative Cloud Uninstall Bridge (an option in “...”) Reinstall Bridge specifying an earlier version listed as options next to the Install button
You may have to reset the preferences and clear the cache also (Ctrl-Alt-Shift during startup).
