Bridge does not accept PDF files after power outage

Hi, All -- I had a power outage and had to repair Bridge.  Everything seems to be working except that Bridge will not accept the move of a PDF file into an image folder.  The green circle with the plus sign appear (working on a Mac), but the PFD file will not move from my desktop into Bridge.  What's up with that?  It always worked before.  Working on Mac Big Sur latest version.

Dear Lumigraphics -- I think the problem has been solved, although I really don't know how or why.  The PDF file that I was trying to move into my images folder in Bridge had been in the file before, but I removed it and then tried to put it back into the image folder.  It was a PDF created from an internet website identifying different flower types, and I used it for reference.  I created the PDF file again from the internet, but it still would not appear in my Bridge folder.  I did, however, create another PDF file from a different website, and this one was accepted into my Bridge folder.  So, perhaps there was something wrong with the original PDF file, although it had been in Bridge before.  I had the power outage and that seemed to create the problem.  Thanks for your reply, and things seem to be working now.

Files aren't moved "into" Bridge, Bridge is a file system viewer. Files are moved on your drive from folder to folder. Do you have permissions set to allow Bridge to access your folders? Do other file types have this problem?
