Bridge does not remember and open in last folder

I updated to windows 10 and re-installed Photoshop CS5. Since then when I start Brdige it always start on the desktop. Previously it would start in the last folder I used. Where can I set that it remembers the last folder and starts there

I have the same problem, and what is more, does not remember that I prefer the advanced dialog to select what I want.

    Have you installed all the cs5 updates by going to Help>Updates from within photoshop cs5?

    It seems to have resolved itself. Thanks for the help

    CS5 is old and may not be fully compatible with Windows 10.
