Bridge doesn´t open Folders and freeze

Hi,

since today my Bridge doesn´t open Folders anymore and freeze so I have to close it about the Task Manager.

If I open a Folder from the "C" Harddrive it works. All other harddrives no matter if the hardrive is a plugin or intern freeze after you navigate to the last subfolder.

For better understand:

C:\folder\subfolder\image datei --> Works

😧\folder\subfolder\image datei --> freeze

I have deinstalled and reinstalled the bridge manytimes. Delete the settings, cache, (SHIFT+STRG+ALT) ect.

Any help?

Edit:

I find out that this seams to be a problem if a video file is in a folder. I tested now with and without a .mp4 file ore .move file and if a video or audio file is in a folder than the bridge stope working.

Regards

Hi VitoFanelli,

Can you please suggest what Bridge version are you using and what is the Operating System information. Can you share the troubling mp4 file with Bridge team to investigate further. Please let me know and I will tell the steps to follow.

Thanks,

Deepak Gupta

With me Bridge 2017 (7.0.0.93) on Windows stalls and works extremely slow, when I let the start-up scripts execute.

I have the following error:

This does not disturb me, because I do not use After Effects for the moment. But it's the script  out of the box. There should be no error with those.

The second time bridge starts, bridge suggests to disable start-up scripts, what I do. And after that CC 2017 works fine, except that there is no possibility I see to enable the start-up scripts again, without resetting the preferences during start-up of bridge (CTRL-ALT-SHIFT).

No start-up scripts means no tools, especially no Photoshop tools which I use (especially the Image Processor).

Even that start-up scripts are all together disabled, bridge suggests that start-up scripts are enabled and working:

I find this more then troubling.
