Bridge Freezes With jpg Files

After using Bridge, I usually minimize and reopen next time I need it. Lately when I come back I find it totally locked up and responding with a tone when I click on anything such as file list or exit button. Only thing I can do is control-alt-delete and end task in task manager. I then reload the Bridge file from CC. That works fine until I minimize and start the process again. I can't figure out what I have turned on or off that would make this happen.
