Bridge is making me crazy

Why does Bridge completely change the way I like to use it every time I upgrade it? I sort of use it as a finder for all of my projects on my Mac, and I have always prefered a list view on the left, files in the middle, preview on the right. Every upgrade makes me reset this whole thing! Now, I've had to replace a dead computer, but d-loaded Adode CC to it...and Bridge is doing it again...and I can't figure out how do get my old, comfortable config up again. Stop it Adobe! I have work to do!

Hi russellpandBonnieblue,

Since you are on a Mac, from your user's folder go into

(user's folder)->Library->Application Support ->Adobe

And scroll down until you see Bridge 2020. Now scroll a tad more until you see Bridge CC 2019. Then in that folder, open it, and scroll down to Workspaces. Look for the name of your favorite workspace and copy that and/or copy-drag that file into the Workspace folder of Bridge 2020.

Quit (if already open) Bridge and/or restart Bridge. You should see your old Workspace ready for you.

Please let us know if this works or not (and if not, what are you seeing)?

Save your desired setup as a custom workspace.

I do! I save workspaces in all my CC products. Bridge seems to be the only one that doesn't recognize them.
