Bridge: Keyboard shortcut "delete" and "return"do not work after newest upgrade

I am referring to Adobe Bridge, newest version after upgrade

After upgrading to the newest version, the previousely flawlessly working commands "return" to open a picture or "delete" to delete a picture do not work anymore.

Is this intended or just a flaw?

Is there a workaround?
