Bridge Keywords with Accented Letters

Windows 10 21H1

Does anybody know how to type in directly accented letters when creating new Bridge keywords using a UK style keyboard?

e.g. Càrn Mòr Dearg Arête

The familiar key combinations which work with Microsoft Office Apps do not function in Bridge (they don't work here either!) or at least I can't get them to work. I am left typing what I require in a Microsoft Word document then copying and pasting to Bridge, a convoluted process!
