Bridge launches PS and opens image in PS when I don't want it to.

When I simply place the cursor anywhere on a thumbnail in Bridge, either on the image or on the frame around the image, Bridge launches Photoshop automatically, moves the image into Camera Raw and then opens the image in Photoshop. All of that has to be closed so I can return to Bridge where the same unwanted behavior of Bridge starts all over. If anyone knows a solution, please share. I am considering using Revo Unistaller to remove everything Adobe, including Creative Cloud, Flash, Air, Acrobat, etc and the totally clean reinstall. Question - is there a way to backup/save on external drive my Photoshop Brush presets? I looked in Presets\Brushes folder but it's empty. System - Windows 10. Good observation! Turns out that once I replaced my mouse a number of issues resolved. Thank you for your tip and advise.

Same problem here. Bridge launches Photoshop when I click on a thumbnail. HELP
