Bridge metadata items cannot be selected as desired

Happy that Bridge is being developing from that rudimentary thumbnail viewer it was for not a so long time ago! And lately, because it is possible to have several Bridge windows open. In that there is still a minor problem: Apparently Adobe uses some proprietary technique in Bridge's windows so that e.g. Witch, that is a very nice app for shifting from a window to another, is not functional. Therefore, I need just for Bridge a separate shortcut to shift between windows. For all other programs I can use Witch (except PS).

But here is my question: Why cannot I choose Attributes to be shown in Bridge's metadata view when I drop several categories, leaving just some visible? It seems to me that I can choose all other panels at my will but not Attributes. They are not shown. I'm afraid that there are also problems in showing selections that do not comprise the main categories in Bridge preference panel (I didn't test this completely).
