Bridge not detecting camera?

Recently purchased Olympus ODE  M1 Mark2 camera. I have Mac with OS X El Capitan 10.11.6. I have installed the correct 9.9 plugin is updated. Bridge CS5 and CS6 are both installed on computer but neither recognizes the camera. Please help as camera is no good if you cannot view the photos! Thanks

    I assume you are referring to Adobe Camera Raw. According to this site:

    Camera Raw plug-in and Adobe application compatibility

    Your version 9.9 is not compatible with your CS5 or CS6

    The chart indicates that version CC 2015 (or later) is required.

    So, if I read this correctly, you are saying there is no compatibility with

    my new camera and CS5 or CS6? The adobe "cameras supported" page shows my

    camera, theOM-D E-M1 Markll as needing the 9.9 camera raw plug in. What I

    understand that you are saying is that they are not updating the older

    software to function with the newer plugins. So there is no way to utilize

    my new camera with the old software?

    Adobe is not updating CS6.

    You might download the free Adobe DNG converter, and see whether that solves the problem.
