Bridge on Apple M1 - Big Sur - Cannot create specified folder, the folder name is invalid

I am running Macbook Pro 2020 - Apple M1 chip on Big Sur 11.2.3 / Bridge 11.1.0.175.

When I attempt to upload photos I get the following error: 'Cannot create the specified folder. The folder name is invalid, or you not have the permission to save to the specified directory.'

I have gone into 'Security & Privacy settings' and added 'Full Disk Access' and 'Files and Folders' for Bridge. This made no difference.

I've also created a new folder to write to, and I am the admin on this computer. Same issue. I've never seen this issue previously on my old macbook, or previous versions of Bridge.  I'm guessing this related to the M1 chip and Bridge incompatibility? Any help would be appreciated. I doubt a re-install will fix this issue, the initial install was clean.

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about this issue with Bridge. Could you please try resetting the preferences of Bridge and let us know if it helps? https://helpx.adobe.com/bridge/kb/troubleshoot-errors-freezes-bridge.html

This did not fix the issue. Same problem exists.

All permissions are set correctly. This is really frustrating, not encountered this issue previosly with my mid 2012 macbook pro which I've used for years with Adobe CC.  Bridge feels quite buggy on the M1 chip. There are other issues with video files no showing up as thumbnails, and only a generic icon is shown. Please offer some other solutions to correct this.
