Question

Bridge Output PDF looks terrible

I am using Bridge CC 2019. I have made 5 star selects of about 46 jpegs that I am trying to export in a contact sheet with 2 columns and 3 rows to a Tabloid size PDF (8 pages total).

The images are high resolution and look great in bridge, but when exported in the PDF they look terrible. They look extremely dark and pixelated compared to how they look in bridge.

I am exporting them as "12", the highest quality, and 300 dpi. I tried with "preserve embedded color profile" both selected and deselected.

This is a known issue that Adobe is working on.

Has there been any progress in fixing this issue. It's been way too long for this to be unresolved. I depend on contact sheets created in bridge quite a bit and it is an embarrassment to send these to the clients.

Yes these contacts look horrible. I just made a contact sheet from tiffs and the contact sheet made them look red and muddy. This is an issue that is making us all look bad, Adobe. We are having to figure out workarounds to pre adjust color to compensate for Bridge doing such a horrible job.

Please fix this. Thank you.
