Bridge photodownloader does not recognize compact flash cards macOS Ventura

Bridge 13.0.2.636 photodownloader does not recognize compact flash cards in macOS Ventura. I've tried all CF cards I have and none works. (No problem with SD cards apart the download being extremely slow, as it has been for the last couple of years with Bridge). I see the CF card on my desktop but when I open photodownloader it tells me there is no card recognizeable. Refreshing does not help. Anyone else with the same problem?
