Bridge renaming files error - The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another

Hi,

New user to Bridge.  I'm trying to manually rename a billion videos of my kids but periodically get the error listed.

"The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process."

I am almost 99% sure it's because the video is being "previewed", i.e., still running on the Preview pane, while I try to rename the file.  I say that because if the video is stopped, renaming works perfectly.  

Please tell me that's not the case!  Why even have a preview window if you can't do anything to the file while it's running??
