Bridge rotates verticals when metadata template is applied

Has anyone else seen this? I select a bunch of images in Bridge, then click Tools > Replace Metadata > [name of template]. It replaces the metadata as it's supposed to, but at the same time it rotates all the verticals to horizontal. Maybe this is a bug in the latest release - I have been using this particular template for a while with no issues.

I'm using Windows 7 Professional, Bridge CC 2017 7.0.0.93 x64

Thanks for any suggestions!

Dan

Update: I created a new template from the old one, and the new version works fine. (Just editing the old one didn't fix it.) So I'm going to guess that the most recent update has a problem with older templates. I'm still curious whether anyone else has noticed this.
