Bridge:-SD card Download Issue

Cannot import images into Bridge using Photo Downloader.

I have contacted help centre and spoken to 6 people in the customer service help centre. Who have promised to get an agent to help me resolve this issue. I have wasted hours on this waiting for a phone call and was informed they would get back to me EVENTUALLY.

Hi Kathleen,

I strongly urge you to do as @Erik Bloodaxe said. That will help us tremendously to understand your issue.

Allow me to point out a little detail and suggesting a route to the error isolation:

Bridge is not a kind of database, so you do not "import" pictures into bridge, but you copy them from your card or camera to your system, with some additional operations, like renaming the files. I never used the Downloader. I always used my OS tools (Windows: Explorer, macOS: Finder) to copy the files to the destination. Then I used Bridge to rename the files to my established scheme.

So, just to see, if the problem lies with Bridge or your computer, you can copy the files from your card to your system, using Finder/Explorer. If that works, we can exclude probably a computer issue, and we need to look further into your Bridge issue. If that fails, we can be sure that the issue is not related to Bridge and there need to be a different point of failure, like your SD card.

You have made a statement but you haven't asked a question in order to attract someone who may be able to assist you.

You should give clear information about your system and describe how your issue arises.
