Bridge SLOW to access External Drives

Bridge was working fine up until the morning when I updated my Mac OS System to Montery. Now it is SLOW or doesn't respond to external dives BUT I can open my finder and open files in Photoshop instanly. The only program I am having trouble with is Bridge.

Any ideas would be welcome. BTW the files I am having trouple with are tiff files and can be used easily anywhere else.

Try purging the Bridge cache and letting it rebuild.

I have purged the cache. Bridge only has trouble loading previews with one folder. I have the folder on 4 drives and all do the same. It previews smaller files in the folder fun but files of any size above say 40mb I get the spinning ball saying "no file selected" or it will show the preview of the previous file for a minute plus. I just timed one at 65 seconds.

There are only 444 files in the folder.

None of my other folders and most with more images have the issue, many with larger files.

Once it is up in preview it opens correctly in PS.

I am using the lastest MAC OS and lastest Bridge.

I updated OS yesterday which is when this all began. The day before eveything was working smoothly and fast.

What kind of files and how do you have the same folder on four drives? Are they sync'd somehow?
