Bridge thumbnails do not show changes in noise reduction but shows if file was gray scaled

Okay, I had some photos where I changed to grayscale AND used noise reduction in Camera Raw.

I have the HQ option checked but the thumbnails displayed show the gray scale but not the reduction in noise. However if I view an individual file in Camera Raw it shows both grayscale and noise reduction. Something in the way thumbnails are displayed?

I have reinstalled Bridge to no avail.

    Hi tekwrite,

    I think the Bridge show the embed jpeg data, wherein if you open the same image in ACR it shows you the actual raw data.

    It is visible with the loupe, however it is probably too subtle in other views? Here is an animation showing the original and max noise reduction to illustrate:
