Bridge using extraordinary amount of system memory

Bridge has been crashing regularly lately when I'm not using it. This morning I woke up to this message. Normally it uses about 5GB max. It's not the first time I've seen this and I wonder if it is connected to the crashes.

I'm using an imac M1 running Monterey 12.3.1. 16 GB of memory. Any thoughts?
