Bridge V.14.0.0.102 operates much slower than Beta Bridge V14.0.0.94
I am using an M1 Silicon Mac Studio pro 32 gigs of ram, and My photography editing workflow is, to download my card with Adobe PhotoDownloader in Bridge, then star my keepers, then sort by stars, and double click on each one to edit it in A.C.R. I seldom even need PhotoShop because I shoot well. 🙂
I reveled when Adobe took Bridge V14.0.0.102 out of BETA, and made it a general release.
I quickly deleted my Bridge BETA, and PhotoShop beta and went with the actual release versions now. Suddenly I noticed a much slower response when launching Bridge, and it was loading my images slower, and even slower processing them out when I asked it to EXPORT to my already made export presets I've always used. BTW, I am VERY GRATEFUL you finally gave me back my ability to export to .JPG instead of JPEG. That was a wonderful restoration.
After struggling checking Bridge and ACR settings and finding nothing out of the ordinary, I simply returned/re-loaded Bridge BETA V14.0.0.94 and EVERYTHING came back to normal. Opening my folder of raw images was once again fast, and editing the images in ACR was once again fast, and closing those edited files was saving back to my folders quickly once again.
I propose you should look at Bridge Release version 14.0.0.102 and see why it runs slower, hands off files slower, and caused A.C.R. to run slower too. Once I returned to Bridge Beta .94 all is back to normal speed. Thanks in advance for checking on Bridge. It is really my FAVORITE Adobe App and I hang my professional photography career on it. :-).
