Bridge Will Not Allow Manual Image Sorting - Please Help

I have checked and it appears that my Bridge program is up to date Version 13.0.1.583 yet the program will not allow me to manually sort my images. Without this feature, the program is not fit for purpose. Please advise on how I can correct this feature as in previous versions of the program it was not an issue to manually sort images.

    We have fixed related issues in the latest Bridge version 13.0.2. Please check the latest build. 

    If you still face the issue please provide the following details to understand it better.

    1. Are you able to drag and drop files?
    2. Is manual sorting getting lost on app re-launch?
    3. What is the sorting order set? Is it getting changed to other than “sort manually”? 
    4. Are you working with a collection/smart collection?

    There was a known bug with sorting, have you installed the latest beta version? I expect numerous updates before Bridge 2023 is usable.

      I have had this issue, which I solved with resetting preferences and clearing the cache.  Good luck!
