Bridge won't open some RAW files in both CR2 and CR3.

the same files do open from Finder  MAC 12.6.2.

For the files that do open in Bridge, sometimes adding metadata works and sometimes I type in metadata or click one in my master list and get--

So I did meta in LightRoom which is a huge pain because the keyword list there is a lot more strung out.

Then i tried to rename in Bridge and my RAW files have disappeared. This is all I can get in the Bridge window.

RAW files are also gone from the Finder desktop folder. xmp are still there. Also Bridge will no longer rename in the same folder. I get SEQN instead of the seqence number. I called about this three times about 7 years ago. Still not fixed so I have to ssend the rename to another folder.

In the filters panel, all stay checked even when i uncheck all I don't want. I want File Types but they won't show.

workflows don't show my saved ones except for keywords mine.

I've closed and reopened Bridge. Restarted computer. Have all Adobe apps up to date. I'm losing hours and hours trying to fix this stuff. I don't want to go to other cataloging apps because in the past Bridge was so much faster and simpler to use. Totally frustrated.

Also in PhotoShop the keyword shortcuts don't hold. Press b for brush and it just goes back to the previouly used tool.

Hi @eonekvt , let's take this in pieces, you have a whole bunch of issues.

First, have you provided Apple's privileges to Bridge in Apple's System Settings? If not, here's how:

Go to your System Preferences and select Security and Privacy (found in the top section). Now click on the Privacy setting (last tab). Now click on the lock on the bottom left and provide your Administrator code. Now select the Full Disk Access option and click on the "+" symbol. This will bring up the standard Mac Open window and let you add any application you want or need to have full access to. Look for Bridge, and select it; it will now appear in that window and make sure it's checked. Next, go to the Files and Folders option and do the same thing as above (although there's nothing to check, just add. Close everything down and see if that makes it all work.

Please let me know

[Note: these images are from an older OS, the process is the same except for Ventura, that's a whole different ball game.]

Close things down and see if that solves the permissions issue.

Yes, this security worked on the photos I just tried. I went through this some time ago but updates must have undone things. I'm saving your instructions if the same happens in the future. Thanks so much !!!

Technically, it's not that it "undone" things; rather, Bridge 13 is a new program and requires settings of its own. That's all. Glad it worked!
