Bridge won't open

I'm a relatively new Mac user. Now on Sierra 10.12.6. I installed the PDF Output module but it wouldn't create and play full-screen. So, I deleted the Output files that I installed. That lead to Bridge not opening at all. So, I deleted Bridge by dragging it to Trash. I tried to reinstall from CC but that didn't work. I then found that I could uninstall Bridge from CC and that meant I could reinstall it. However, having uninstalled Bridge and its preferences, and reinstalled it, it still won't open. The Bridge icon makes like it's thinking of opening and then disappears. Anyone with any ideas, please?
