Bridge Won't Open Images

For 2 weeks or so I have not been able to open images in Bridge. I even went back 2 versions and the issue persists. I am using Mac Mini with M1 chip.

As soon as I try to open my raw images a watch or clock icon appears and then the spinning color wheel. The only way to get rid of it is to force quit. 

My computer OS is up to date, I have rebooted a few times and I reinstalled the latest Bridge update so I am at a loss.

Is this a known bug?
