Bridge won't search external drives

Hi

Having a really frustrating time with Bridge not searching external drives. The drive is listed as a favourite and previous versions of Bridge have been able to search and access it. I can manually look at all the files but it won't search it. It only searches whatever is on the Computer Hard Drive. Mac OS is 10.10.5. It might be something simple but I can'r work it out.

    Please let us know the external drive is connected via cable or network with your Mac, also refer the related discussion: Bridge CC: External network drives cannot be accessed via Bridge. | Photoshop Family Customer Community and try the offered solutions.
