BUG: Bridge 15.0.1.412 on OSX 14.7 - moving files

I normally create a folder (i.e. "RAWs") within a client photo shoot folder.  I then select all of the .NEF files within that folder in Bridge, and drag-and-drop them into the newly created RAWs folder.

Every time I do this, Bridge also moves other files along with the ones I had selected.  This forces me to go into the folder, and move the other files back.

In short:  Selecting files in Bridge and moving them to a different folder causes other files to be moved as well, despite not being selected.

I can replicate the issue easily.

Thank you for your feedback.
We were unable to reproduce the issue at our end.
Could you please provide the following details to help us investigate further?
  • Is the issue specific to particular files or formats?
  • Details of other file formats getting moved without selection.
  • Are the other files of same name as of selected file except the extension(like test.nef and test.jpg), in that case these files are considered as related and move in a group. If this is the case with you, there is a workaround for this:
    • Move all related files(like Jpg files of same name), in a separate folder. Now these files will no longer related to each other and you can perform the operation as you want.

If issue still persist, please share the sample file/files on which you are observing the issue and video if the issue at sharewithbr@adobe.com and mention this thread.

Thanks,
Bridge Team
