Bugs Bridge 11.00.83

I've decided to share the various bugs I have noticed in the new update.

Startup : I get the following warning

"Are you connected to the internet? We can't verify your subscription status. We can't reach the adobe servers." I can then click "Try again" or "Quit Adobe Bridge". Both do the same thing, return a second message. "We're still having connection problems. We can't verify your subscription status....bla bla." If I click either "Try Again" or "Quit Adobe Bridge", nothing happens after that. It doesn't even shut down like it says it will.

Not running any third party Antivirus/security or any VPN service. And everything else works. Not altered any settings for internet/wifi/lan etc. This didn't happen before the update.

I have tried uninstall, delete folders and reinstall.

Videos :

- Double-clicking videos won't open them, I have to right-click and open or open with.

- Sometimes moving videos or opening them, locks/stalls Bridge

- 4K videos is especially difficult; opening and moving

General bugs:

- Sometimes it grinds to a halt, for no apparent reason. No background tasks running.

- Cache won't auto purge in exit

- I GET A LOT OF "YOU DON'T HAVE PERMISSION TO DO THAT" while renaming or moving files.

- Sometimes moving or renaming files, Bridge hangs mid way. Can't close or exit, have to do a ctrl alt del.

- Sometimes when I open an image, nothing happens ie Windows Photo doesn't open the image externally. Afterwards, Bridge doesn't work well. Restart required.

- Sometimes moving files doesn't preserve Stacks. (I wish "View Items from Subfolder" would preserve stacks!!!) (Aslo auto-stack versions of an image would be nice)

- When viewing keywords of several subfolders, Bridge is extremely slow.

- Numerous lockups, slowdowns, hangs, stalls.

- An option to open image in full resolution within Bridge.

MY BIGGEST WISH FOR BRIDGE :

I would LOVE for Brige to have "Add To Album". I have multiple images in different folders that I would like to

Are you starting Bridge at login?

Sounds like a MAC OS. Which version?  Windows? which version?

Amount of RAM? Looks like you have a lot of permissions issues. Have tried repairing your permissions?

Hard drive size? Video card mfg.?

On windows Bridge does respond to double click to open.

If your machine is fast enough you can check your previews.

Here is the settings I recommend. I Bridge is slow, but manageable with the right settings.

Forget 4K footage just forget it. Most machines do not have the capacity to manage 4K files.
