Camera Raw Preset Favourites Resetting

I seem to have this recurring issue with my Camera Raw Preset Favourites List keeps disappearing. I have to try to remember which ones I've been using, find them among the hundreds I have, and favourite them again. I thought it was an update, but it happened this week without one.

Where does Raw save your favourite selection? I can find my Preset List and Ive even tried to create a folder with my Favourites, but it's not showing up.

Is there any best practice?
