Can I configure the photo import wizard to name the folder with dashes?

Currently it creates the folder as a single number for the date e.g. 151023. I want to get it to include - between each part of the date to make the folder easier to identify e.g. 15-10-23 (UK format). Is there a way to do this? I know I can do it manually.

    Is it not simpler to create a folder first with the name as required then instruct the photo downloader to save to that file? Choose do not create subfolder. At least that's how I go about the process.
