Can I transfer a selection in Bridge from one computer to another?

Good morning all, 

 

I did a shoot recently, where I copied all the files to my Macbook, and made a selection of the images I want to work (I just labelled them a certain colour). 

I am now back home on my iMac, and have copied the same files to my iMac. 

Is it possible to somehow export the "label" or something to that effect from the one computer to the other, so that I don't have to sift through hundreds of images on the new computer and make the selection on the new computer? 
Or am I stuck with having to copy and paste the images from the one to the other computer?

Hi, @Oliver H Photo, if you've already labeled the files on your MacBook, why not just move them to a new folder (call it "the good ones"?) and then you can grab that folder and toss the rest (or move them over as the "not so good ones"?).

 

Anyhow, once you've done the primary keep and toss, make things easier for the next step. With all of the labeled images altogether, if you move them to your desktop computer, once there, you can relabel them as a group. Then even if you move all the rest of the other photos over, the "good" group is already labeled.

Thanks, @gary_sc for the reply. That is how I basically ended up doing it. I was just hoping that there might be an easier way, in that I can get a metadata file of sorts that I can pass between my computers via Adobes (albeit useless) online services. 
I guess I've been working with Photoshop long enough to know that Adobe doesn't really deal in uncomplicated solutions, as @gregreser alluded to. Thanks for that answer as well, @gregreser.

For as long as I've worked with computers (1985 with the Fat Mac), I realized that there are two ways to get a job done: the way that you can or the way that one thinks it should/could be done. The first way gets the job done; the 2nd way typically wastes time. I realized this when I was writing a letter to my uncle. It was ONE LINE too long to fit on a piece of paper. Back in the day, MacWrite could control font size, the right margin (only), and that's about it. However, there was room for this one extra line, but the default settings would now allow for it. So, I lied to my Mac: I told it I had an 8.5 x 14 in paper in the ImageWriter. It worked. I got the page printed on one page and sent it off to my uncle. 

 

That was a valuable lesson for me and has saved me lots of time.

It is possible to export the label metadata from the files on one compter and import them into the files on another computer, but it would take more time and have more failure points than just copying files.
