Can't edit metadata in large file

I have a large file (3.08 GB .pst) and Bridge will not allow me to edit the metadata. I get an error that says "This property cannot be modified." Any idea why I am getting that warning? It is my original file - scanned copy of an image for a restoration. Thanks!

Check the preferences, and make sure this value is greater than your file size.
