Can't import file alternating characters in.ffx

After effects error can't import file alternating characters in.ffx unsupported file type or extension.

I am trying to use Bridge to apply effects in my text it worked normally, however after upgrading to After Effect version 23.1 it stops working.

I am using Bridge 13.0.1

Checking forums they mentioned that the error can be solved by

* Reinstalling Bridge - did not work

* Selecting the effect directly in After Effects Animation presets, it applies the effect but I need to select it from Bridge as expected.

* Going to menu Animation / Apply Animation preset and browse for the needed effect, once again it works but it is manual and I need to apply from Bridge.
