Can't Rename Files (JPEGS) in a folder in "Shared

Question

Bridge V 13.09.785 ; Trying to rename simple jpegs in a folder in "Shared" by Batch Rename,

and a pop-up window appears:

$$$/Mondo/SystemError/Mac/wrPermErr=A write permissions errorhas occurred.

Selected Shared folder and Folder the files were in> Get Info> unlocked with password (Read & Write for Staff and Everyone was already initiated)> Apply to Enclosed Items. Rename is still not working.

My question is how to resolve this, and what gives Bridge the authority to determine permissions or anything with my files? And once again, I have to stop work and figure out some frustrating tech thing!

Have you tried renaming the same files in Windows Explorer (on Windows) or Finder (on Mac)? Could you please share the result of the same with us.

Please share the sample file/files on which you are observing the issue at sharewithbr@adobe.com and mention this thread. Your assistance is greatly appreciated!
