Cannot obtain files from this device. Adobe Bridge

I am trying to get the imgaes from my SD card, convert to DNG and save to my computer. I've done it a million times, but today I am getting the error message: Adobe Bridge cannnot obtain files from this device. Please ensure that the device is connected prooperly, or that the battery is charged, and try again.

I tried a different card reader and different USB ports and still the same error. I even uninstalled Bridge and reinstalled it so it is the most up to date version. In the preview before I click "Get Media" I can see all of the images so I know it's reading my card.
