Cant red png files in Bridge

I am very surprised that in the very last version of Bridge that I have as of 20 March 2023, the application cannot read png files, even i thumbnails.

How can I fix this issue ?

Sorry but before posting this message I searched in key words my concern and have not seen any discussion on this (which si surprising me).
