Just did the latest CC update and now neither Bridge or Photoshop recognize any of my CR2 raw files from a Canon 1DX mark II...

    That's true, but you can rollback to older version... just right click on open. Then you could do a batch to convert them all to dng. Someone else might have the answer for the new versions reading CR2.

    I can't help you, but this is the reason I tell all my students to convert to .dng

    can't shoot in dng...so can't convert to dng if it doesn't recognize a raw file
