Change the ’Document title’

I'm not sure exactly what you have and what you wish to end up with. Can you give an example? While ExUSA is correct in some respects, knowing the results of my question may give us ideas of alternative, better approaches.

Select all items in Bridge, then make the change in the Metadata panel.
