Question

Changing creation date of scanned photos

I recently scanned over 40 years of slides onto my computer.  I am using Adobe Bridge to help me organize these pictures.  In metadata, I am trying to update the date that the photo was taken.  However, for most of the photos the best I can do is to say something like "Summer 1975".  Other than just picking a date (ex June 1,1975), is there anything else I can do?  Also, can the time function be disabled or blocked?

Thanks

Have you thought about using your file names or keywords instead? If you used the keywords "Summer" "Fall" "Winter" and "Spring" with years like "1975" then you should be able to search just the keywords "winter" and "1975" to get all the images you scanned that were from the winter of 1975.

Thanks for the idea, this looks like the simplest solution.
