Clips showing the horrible performance of Bridge 13-15

I will keep posting untill Adobe answers!

Here are clips showing how bad Bridge 13-15 work. 3 clips. The first two show the same  folder, scrolling through with arrow doen. V12 Vs V15. As you can se, V15 takes double the time to do it.

The third clips show how insane the respons time is on V15 when scrolling. You can se the delay when I'm pressing a key. It's laughable. What the heck did you do to the code? Every version after 12 has been unusable because of the slow performance of scrolling, culling. So pretty much it's broken for the main thing it's supposed to work as.

I've been in several video meetings with them, showing the broken performance. I've had many email conversations, I've helped them with screenshots, video captures and everything in between. The almost never replies, they only want answers, they never answer my questions. And I pay them for this?

Adobe dev team, can you talk with me/us and give some feedback? Last time I helped you from messages you helped you with several videos showing the bad scrollin performance, but as soon as I asked you something you just went quiet??

Would it not be fair that since I pay for you to develop adobe apps and yet I still help you with bugs, that you at least could answer some questions??? In return??

This is really really bad from your end Adobe. Please get back to me/us with information. And answer the only 2 questions I had.

1. Do you know what's causing the slow performance?

2. If you know, can you fix it

That's all I want to know. Otherwise I will do as many others and start to leave Adobe.

Hi @MazStudios ,

Thank you for sharing your concerns and for your continued patience.

We greatly appreciate the time and effort you've put into providing detailed feedback, including video captures and participating in meetings with our team.

Post framework update, we have been actively investigating the issues and making incremental enhancements to improve performance in different areas. The videos you shared are very helpful to understand the exact issue you are observing.

We acknowledge that our communication hasn’t always met your expectations, but we are dedicated to enhance performance and are continuously working to make Bridge more efficient. Your feedback is crucial, and we are listening carefully as we work to improve the product.

Thank you for your patience and support.

Best regards,

Swati

Hello

Thanks for the reply.  (Also sent this on email) The suggestions int he mail didn’t help. My computer is always updated with the latest drivers, and so this time. The reparing of C++ was interesting suggestion, but it didn’t help either.

Your three tips
Step 01:
Control Panel > Programs & Features > Repair Microsoft C++ (To repair them right click and change it will give you option to uninstall or repair you need to repair)
Step 02:
Install the official GeForce app and update GPU drivers from it (Update both game ready and studio)
Step 03:
Search windows update settings and update all the optional updates available for your computer (Including drivers and security)

As I said, none of this helped.

To be clear, NONE of V13, V14 and V15 have worked. Just wanted to clarify this since you only wrote 13 and 15.

V12 works fine and should be considered the only stable version according to the community.

My PC

Processor          13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900K   3.00 GHz

Installed RAM   96,0 GB (95,7 GB usable)

System type      64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

OS                         Windows 11 Pro

Version                24H2

Installed on       ‎2024-‎10-‎03

OS build              26100.2161

Experience        Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.26100.32.0

GPU                      ASUS GeForce RTX 4090

What I’ve tried ever since V13

  1. Always updated driver.
  2. Reinstalled Bridge several times
  3. Reinstalled All apps
  4. Reinstalled Windows two times
  5. Reinstalled Windows on new hardware
  6. Adobe has always been first apps to be installed and tried (Only 12 works)

So, there you go. I have tried the basics “tips” over and over. I have reinstalled the entire computer.

The problems started with V13 and have been there ever since.

A huge part of the community can confirm these problems.

So, again.

  1. Do you know what’s causing the problems
  2. Can you fix them?
