Collection file paths between different OS's

I use Bridge on a Mac and on Windows. All my images are on a server so the Mac paths are:

/Volumes/Folder/SubFolder/File

and on the PC they are:

\\ServerName\Folder\SubFolder\File

There does not seem to be a way to massage file paths in Bridge so that 'connections' are not lost when I move from one machine to another.

is this not possible?

    The collection .filelist is an .xml file, so it can be edited via a find & replace in a plain text editor. My personal preference would be using a grap/regex.

    No, I don't wish to have to edit an XML file every time I switch from a Mac to a PC and vice versa.

    Collection files are not portable between computers. If you don't want to edit XML files, you can't share collections.
