when I duplicate a .NEF file in Bridge, the colors on the copy are different than the original. Any idea how to fix this?

Try purging the cache for that folder so that all image previews in that folder are forced to be rebuilt.

When you duplicate a raw image in Bridge, it should also duplicate the .xmp sidecar file that holds all of the camera raw settings that control the rendering or “look” of the original. You can use the View menu > Show hidden files option to view these sidecar files. If you have the .xmp sidecar of the original file but not the duplicate, simply duplicating the .xmp sidecar file so that it has the same name as the image duplicate should fix the issue. Otherwise you could open both raw files and sync all settings from the original to the dupe, which would create or update the sidecar for the duped file.
