Hi, since I updated the application to Bridge 2021, the app uses a huge amount of CPU time. This also results in an increase in the temperature of the Mac (iMac 27 late 2017, i5, 24 GB of ram), and the massive use of RAM.
Why? Possible resolutions?

Are you link or opening files in PS from Bridge?

What the size of your photo library?

If over 30,000 images I suggest you move half of them to a second drive and try using Bridge.

Yes, I am operating on PS starting from BR.
My photo library is 540 Gb large, with a total of about 55,000 photos, obviously divided into various subfolders.
