Delay in photos deleting in Bridge

I am using Bridge version 9.1.0.338, on my Macbook Pro - Catalina 10.15.  Since last week, when I delete a JPEG photo from a folder, it is taking around 30seconds to complete the task (spinning ball!), whereas it previously it was instant.  Any ideas about what I can do to resolve this issue please? It's seriously slowing down my work flow.  TIA.

    Hi there,

Sorry that Bridge 9.1.0 is delaying the task of deleting an image as it almost freezes for some time. I can understand that how it could sloe down your editing workflow.

I'd start troubleshooting with restoring the app preferences to default, please checkout this article https://helpx.adobe.com/in/bridge/kb/troubleshoot-errors-freezes-bridge.html#main_Troubleshooting_steps and let us know how it goes.

    Thanks,

    Akash

A new update installed today, and now there is an additional issue - RAW files are taking way too long to open at all! I am really unhappy and am close to cancelling my subscription.  Adobe suite of apps are no longer working for me.

    Feeling your frustration here

Although I have resolved a lot of issues after doing the update mainly resetting preferences I still have a major issue opening raw files and even when editing through camera raw spinning wheel constantly ! What really bugs me is that if you import those same images into LR there are no issues editing and processing so can somebody in Adode tell me whats going on ? Up to  a couple weeks ago had no problems editing & processing, I use Bridge because its a great way of viewing and editing and camera raw when it works has some great features like for correcting vertical and horizontal distortion but I may have to move over to LR which I think is  a bit clunky and not user friendly.
