Dialog box with camera doesn't open

I go to "Get photos from camera" in Bridge and dialog box does not open. (it always worked fine). What should I do?

Hi Moshe,

 

Just to verify, are you talking about this icon?

If clicking on it is not doing anything, the first thing I'd try is to reset the Preferences.

 

To reset Preferences:

Quit Bridge (if running). Just before clicking on Bridge in the Dock or double-clicking the application for the Mac, press Command-Option-Shift. For PCs, press Control-Alt-Shift. Then open Bridge BUT KEEP your fingers on those keys until you see a window pop up. From the window, choose “Reset Preferences," "Entire Thumbnail Cache,” and/or "Reset Standard Workspaces.” In your case, choose "Reset 

 

Let us know if that works or not.

 

Also, please let us know what version of Bridge (and what release) you are using, and what your OS is (and what release)?

Yes, I am talking about this icon. I am following your instructions but the reset preferences window doesn't pop up.
I work with PC and my bridge is updated on creative cloud monthly plan. I am not sure what is OS?
