Disappearing applications: The specified volume could not be found

All my application files have disappeared; attempting to open from shortcuts on desktop gets message that "The operation could not be completed. The specified volume could not be found." This applies to all creative cloud apps. The Creative Cloud Installer cannot be opened; I get the same message. Any suggestions?

I just updated all my CC applications and I've been having similar issues. Shortcuts have been disappearing then reappearing. Apps have been stalling and popping up strange error messages. I've been getting the same error message you're getting trying to use Bridge 2019. I thought the problem might be a corrupted download, so I uninstalled and then reinstalled but the problem persisted. So, I went back to Bridge 2018 (which I kept on my computer) but it had the exact same problem.

Same thing with Photoshop. I had a file open, went to open another file and all the files and folders are greyed out.

I'm using Mac OS 10.14.2. I'd supply the Bridge version numbers, but I can't get anything to open.

I'm reaching out to adobe now.

You are attempting to open from shortcuts, are the applications actually installed? Can you find them and open them?? Sounds like everything has been deleted.

I tried opening from the application folder, but no luck. The creative

cloud installer (dmg) will not open, either. I am using a MacBook Pro and

the latest operating system. Thanks for responding.

Are they actually there, in your applications folder? I would download and install Creative Cloud.
