Do I need botth Bridge 11.11 AND 12.0?

It appears that automatic installation of the newer version did not replace the other. Should I manually remove 11.11 or doe it still serve a purpose?

Hi,

Thanks for your feedback. Br 12 will not replace Br 11. You do not need to remove Br 11 in order to install Br 12. You can keep both.

For Bridge, probably not much. When a new release has been dropped on us, it sometimes is better to keep the old one if there's something spectacularly wrong with the new update and you wish to fall back to the older one while you wait for the bug to be fixed in the new one. 

 

I like having multiple versions of Photoshop around for the times I'm doing something in release but also doing something else in another. This comes into play the most when I have a model dialog running that I can't get out of at the moment but still need to process an image or two.

 

So, if you are not being affected by any of the issues in 12, go ahead and toss 11.
