Error opening the correct version of Photoshop

Question

Several weeks ago I installed the beta version of Photoshop and images from Bridge via ACR continued to be opened in the normal Photoshop. Yesterday all of a sudden Bridge opened images from ACR in the beta version.

In Bridge preferences > application Launch Options, I have selected the version as Adobe Photoshop 2024 so what has gone wrong?

Hi Ramigrafx,Bridge preferences > application Launch Options controls behaviour of place in and tools options of Photoshop, if you use these options they will open in photoshop 2024, whereas Bridge preferences > File type association controls default application for file type, so if here your file type is associated with PS beta on double clicking over file it will open in Beta version of PS. Kindly change association of files in FTA your problem should be resolved if not kindly let us know we will help you further. Thankyou,Bridge team
